Representative Porter moved and asked unanimous consent that HCS CSSB 150(FIN) be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of considering Amendment No. 1. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representatives Croft and Ryan: 1997-05-11 House Journal Page 1866 SB 150 Page 3, line 25: Delete "and" Insert "," Page 3, line 25, following "areas,": Insert "and seasonal state employees" Representative Croft moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Mulder objected. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?" The roll was taken with the following result: HCS CSSB 150(FIN) Second Reading Amendment No. 1 YEAS: 29 NAYS: 11 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Barnes, Berkowitz, Brice, Bunde, Cowdery, Croft, Davies, Dyson, Elton, Foster, Grussendorf, Hudson, Ivan, James, Joule, Kelly, Kemplen, Kookesh, Kott, Kubina, Masek, Moses, Nicholia, Phillips, Ryan, Sanders, Therriault, Vezey, Williams Nays: Austerman, Davis, Green, Hanley, Hodgins, Kohring, Martin, Mulder, Ogan, Porter, Rokeberg Ogan changed from "Yea" to "Nay". Ivan changed from "Nay" to "Yea". Kelly changed from "Nay" to "Yea". Therriault changed from "Nay" to "Yea". And so, Amendment No. 1 was adopted. Representative Porter later gave notice of reconsideration of his vote on HCS CSSB 150(FIN) am H(fld H) and the reconsideration was taken up then.
